First stop of the Guizhou family trip: Visit the Guizhou Geological Museum

This summer's highlight is the ikids Guizhou family camp, with the opening ceremony held at the Guizhou Geological Museum. It is said that due to the comprehensive renovation and adjustment of the provincial museum this year, many exhibits related to ethnicity and geology have been relocated. Now, the Geological Museum is much more interesting compared to the provincial museum and aligns better with our trip theme. You can see the landforms of Guizhou, fish and dragon fossil specimens, such as the Liang's Guanling Yulong. The kids, who are dinosaur enthusiasts, are quite looking forward to this. The venue is set up as follows: Basement: Cultural and creative restaurant, natural book bar, dinosaur interactive park, fossil restoration room (not open), fifth exhibition hall (temporary exhibition hall), cultural and creative store; First floor: Lobby, first exhibition hall (Mysterious Guizhou), 5D cinema (not open); Second floor: Second exhibition hall (Colorful Guizhou), third exhibition hall (Prosperous Guizhou), fourth exhibition hall (Progressive Guizhou). The museum's setup mainly revolves around the themes of 'Paleontology Kingdom', 'Karst Kingdom', and 'Sedimentary Rock Kingdom', providing a comprehensive interpretation of Guizhou's geology. The main highlights are 'Mysterious Guizhou' and 'Colorful Guizhou'. The museum has VR explanation equipment available for rent, but the VR glasses can be a bit strenuous.
