My mom and I wore dresses at the Shangri-La Hotel, Guilin. The hotel is like a park, with peacocks and other animals to see and interact with. In the morning, many elderly people were writing couplets on the street. You can choose a couplet you like and take it home to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Xingping Ancient Town is the most beautiful place in Yangshuo. Although ancient towns are similar, the festive atmosphere during the Lunar New Year is very lively. Every household hangs red lanterns and pastes couplets on their doors.
