Guilin Chuanshan Park, located at the southern end of Guilin's urban area, is also part of the Two Rivers and Four Lakes scenic area. Returning from the lake island to the main road of the park, walk a few dozen meters, and on the right, there are stairs leading to Chuanshan Pavilion. It takes 20 minutes to reach the top, and it's not very difficult. The top of Chuanshan Pavilion is for watching the sunrise, and for the sunset, go to a slightly lower platform. During holidays, there will be many people, but it's not a big problem if you're not focused on taking portraits. With distant mountains as a backdrop, watching the sunset at Chuanshan Park is really nice. After watching the sunset, if you're interested, you can stay a little longer to see the city lights at night. Some people come up specifically after dark to see the lights; the scenic area is well-developed, so you don't have to worry about groping your way up and down the stairs in the dark. Also, 800 meters north of Chuanshan Park is Shijia Garden, a foodie's paradise with authentic glutinous rice and Guilin rice noodles.
