Try to get to the main waterfall area before 5 pm; otherwise, you'll miss the rainbow in front of the waterfall. If the crowd is not too large, it's best to visit all six viewing platforms because the unique feature of the Huangguoshu Waterfall is that it's the only one in the world that can be viewed from six different directions: up, down, front, back, left, and right.
