Many people say one day is enough at Chimelong? I've tried it myself, and it's definitely not enough! Especially for families with kids or those wanting a relaxed experience, 1.5 days is the perfect pace. We departed from Shanghai, arrived at the hotel around noon, dropped off our luggage, and headed straight to the zoo, skipping Chimelong Paradise and the Bird Park to focus entirely on the Safari Park—and it proved to be incredibly worthwhile! ✅ Day 1 Afternoon: Enter from the South Gate, explore the core area off-peak. Afternoon, we stored our luggage at the hotel and took the shuttle bus directly to the South Gate. Don't rush to the cable car! The afternoon is less crowded, so we visited these first: 1⃣️ Bear Forest: Turn right upon entering—many people miss this!
