a decent cafe but pricey

Some parts of the experience were very nice. The mains we tried were basic. Avo toast and sweet chili chicken with sweet potato were both wholesome but had similar taste profiles, with generous smashed avo. The chickpeas in the latter were crispy and moreish. The grilled cheese was tasty enough but quite standard. We quite enjoyed the tater-yaki dish but if it is split between 2, it may be too much. Overall, it's an aesthetically clean ambiance, high quality nibbles and great coffee. 22 rmb for a latte, sneaky service charge. I find coffee prices very high for guangzhou in general, so it's hard to recommend this one for coffee. #guangzhouguide#couplestrip
