1. Reservation Guide The new Guangzhou Cultural Center is open to the public free of charge, but reservations must be made in advance. Follow the "Guangzhou Cultural Center" WeChat official account. Numbers will be released at 16:30 every day. It is recommended to make an appointment 3 days in advance. Each account can make an appointment for up to 4 people per visiting day. After a successful reservation, you can enter the museum through the north gate during the specified time period using your mainland China ID card (or reservation code, Guangdong Provincial Code). 2. Opening hours Tuesday to Sunday 9:00 - 17:30 (no admission after 16:30), closed on Monday (open as usual on holidays), please arrange your travel time reasonably to avoid missing the museum. 3. Transportation routes Subway: Take Subway Line 3 to Datang Station Exit B and walk about 800 meters. There are signposts along the way to easily arrive. Bus: You can take it to Jude West Road Station, Datang Station, etc. The specific routes can be found through the bus query software. Self-driving: There is a parking lot inside the museum, but it is recommended to travel green during holidays to avoid traffic congestion. 4. Tour route After entering the museum, you can go to the visitor center to get a map and plan your route appropriately. Recommended route: Public Cultural Center (appreciate the iconic central pavilion, overlook the panoramic view of the park and the city, and visit the exquisite exhibits such as ivory carvings and jade carvings in the museum) → Rising Sun Bridge (feel the ancient charm and take photos) → Quyi Academy (appreciate the charm of traditional drama and quyi, and appreciate the attic architecture in Han and Tang styles) → Guangfu Courtyard (appreciate the characteristic architectural craftsmanship of Guangfu, such as pot-ear walls, gray sculptures, and brick carvings) → Guangxiu Courtyard (amaze the exquisite skills of Guangxiu, and appreciate the characteristic mansion garden landscape) → Hanmo Garden (stroll along the mountain corridor, appreciate the calligraphy and painting art exhibitions, and feel the strong cultural atmosphere). 5. Take photos and check in Central Pavilion: The tallest building in the museum, echoing the Guangzhou Tower in the distance. The photos on the 4th floor are very impressive with the ancient buildings and the city skyline as the background. There are many flowers in the garden next to the Central Pavilion, and you can take photos with the flowers or shoot the Central Pavilion from above. Giant Stone Waterfall: Located near the Quyi Building, it is less crowded and has beautiful scenery, and is a good place to take photos that capture the style of martial arts heroes. Guangfu Garden and Hanmo Garden: pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water are full of the poetic charm of Lingnan gardens. Wearing light-colored clothes will make the photos look particularly good. Lianfeng Bridge: Mountains, waterfalls, and mist are all around, just like the misty rain in the south of the Yangtze River, creating a full atmosphere. 6. Notes There are many mosquitoes in summer, so remember to bring mosquito repellents such as toilet water. There are few convenience stores in the museum and vending machines are scattered, so it is recommended to bring your own drinking water. There is a restroom on every floor of every building. If you encounter a queue, you can go to another one.
