Guangzhou Garden is one of them. ‼ ️It has been exactly 40 years since it opened in 1985, which is older than me. 📍828 rooms, 4 restaurants with breakfast available, the occupancy rate is high every day. 👤There are a lot of foreign guests, including blacks, Middle Easterners, and whites. And on the day I stayed there, I could see with my naked eyes that at least 50% of them were foreign guests, so there were also many foreign staff at the garden concierge. 💁After all, there are more than 800 guest rooms, and you still have to queue up to check in every day. There will be several well-mannered employees in the queue to assist you in checking in conveniently. 🏨The public area is really grand and well-equipped. The waterfall in the large outdoor garden is amazing. There are many big koi in the pond. If you walk along the shore, they will come around and wait for guests to feed them. It really deserves to be named after the garden. 🛌The rooms are indeed old-fashioned, and the basic rooms are small. The Yueyun room I stayed in was quite comfortable, but like the basic room, the bathtub was next to the big bed, which was indeed inconvenient. 🥣The breakfast is good. There are 4 breakfast places with different divisions, including Chinese, Western, fast food, halal, etc. I experienced the regular buffet breakfast on the rooftop, which tasted good and had a rich variety. Overall, I still recommend giving it a try. The tone of Guangzhou Garden is really full of Chinese luxury, and the platinum five-star rating is worth it. But it is really not recommended to stay in the basic room!
