There are many ways to get from Guangzhou to Shunde, but I took the subway the whole way: From Guangzhou Yuexiu Park, take Guangzhou Metro Line 2 to Guangzhou South Railway Station, transfer to Guangzhou Metro Line 7, transfer to Foshan Metro Line 3 at Beijiao Park Station, and get off at Shunde Daliang Bell Tower Station. The whole journey takes 1.5 hours and costs CNY 9.
