In Guangzhou, it's too upscale, I can't bear to check out!

The interior of the Park Hyatt Guangzhou was crafted by the Japanese company SUPER POTATO, with founder Takashi Sugimoto (MUJI's go-to designer) collaborating with Japanese sculptor Masaru Kawamata to fully integrate Lingnan culture into the design. The interior space echoes the hotel's architecture, which is inspired by the 'dragon', using wooden materials to construct artistic installations such as 'dragon nests' and 'dragon bones' in the hotel's public areas. From traditional wooden window lattices to finely carved wooden wall carvings, from decorative door lintels to brick by brick, there is an unwavering effort to preserve and showcase the authentic essence of the local Lingnan culture. Looking back on the stay, I only remember the overcast and rainy day, the exhaustion of the journey, and arriving at the hotel late at night, feeling a great sense of disorientation and detachment, but once inside, I was enveloped by the warm texture of solid wood and the warm yellow lighting. It turns out that light can reshape space. After a restful sleep, I woke up with the interest to closely examine the room's details. Although the facilities were slightly outdated, the space was comfortable in scale, with soft lighting, especially the paper lamp at the sofa corner and the cantilever lamp by the window, which deeply impressed me. The minibar is a separate piece of movable furniture, a Chinese-style cabinet with double doors on the outside, and burled wood drawers inside, with a fridge embedded within, complete with tea and coffee. Oh, and the toiletries are all from lelabo, which is a plus. The guest room corridor is decorated with wood carvings of the Hundred Family Surnames in movable type printing. The lobby lounge offers a direct view of the Canton Tower, and above the columns is the 'dragon nest', passing through the lobby is the restaurant, which I describe in three words: simple elegance, composure, and generosity.
