Watch the white clouds and admire the "island chain" - come to Baiyun Lake!

As an important "urban water reservoir" in the northwest of Guangzhou, Baiyun Lake not only plays a role in regulating the city's water functions, but is also a huge green lung and a "paradise in a painting." The water here is clear and the environment is beautiful, making it a great place to relax. During the construction process, the original topography was utilized and the underground silt was piled up into islands, forming numerous small islands scattered across the lake. Enjoy the "island chain" consisting of 26 islands. After passing through two tunnels, we arrived at the East Lake area of ​​Baiyun Lake. There is also a wetland park at the junction of the two lakes, but I didn’t go to see it due to time constraints. East Lake has a large area and is dotted with such scenic spots as Stars Surrounding the Moon, Cloud Viewing Pavilion, and Watching Dances over the Lake.
