Originally, there are so many egrets in Liuhua Lake Park in Guangzhou

While visiting Liuhua Xiyuan in Guangzhou, I discovered a small island next to Xiyuan 🈶 - Egret Island, which is a lake island formed during the lake excavation and garden construction period of Liuhua Lake Park. The island covers an area of about 6,500 square meters, surrounded by lake water. In spring and summer, flowers bloom all over the island, and in autumn and winter, the forests are dyed with colors. Each season brings its own scenery, stunning the blue lake and sky, and also nurturing a lush 'bird paradise'. With the initiation of the water ecological restoration project of Liuhua Lake Park, the successful advancement of water treatment, lakeshore remediation, and rain and sewage diversion projects, in recent years, the water of Liuhua Lake has become clear to the bottom, underwater plants have grown well, forming an 'underwater forest' that plays a role, rejuvenating the water quality of the lake. The improvement of the lake's ecology has provided an ideal living environment for wild birds, attracting them to settle here. Egret Island has gathered 58 species of birds, including grey herons, great egrets, common blackbirds, kingfishers, white-breasted kingfishers, dark green white-eyes, Alexandrine parakeets, red-billed blue magpies, spotted doves, great barbets, owls, and more. In recent years, the ecological changes in Guangzhou have been continuously improving, and Liuhua Lake Park, with its blue skies, green land, and clean waters, is a microcosm of this. Everywhere you can see the beautiful picture of humans and nature living in harmony.
