Berlin Ancient Town is located in Berlingou Town, Zhaohua District, Guangyuan City. It is named after the cypress forests. It is an important post station on the Lilang Road, a branch of the ancient Shu Road. Ji Fuzheng, a nationally renowned expert on local folk architecture, called it "Little Jiuzhaigou in the mountain valley." It was a beautiful weekend with bright sunshine. My family drove to Berlin Ancient Town for a visit. It took about an hour to drive from Guangyuan to the ancient town. After arriving at the ancient town, we enjoyed the local specialty "wood-fired chicken". We first went to the pavilion by the wetland lake to enjoy the lake view. The lake was deep, sparkling, and the scenery was beautiful. We were surprised that there was such a large wetland lake in the mountains. I heard from the locals that every summer, many outdoor travelers will drive to the lake, set up tents, fish and camp during the day, and watch the stars at night. For those who like outdoor travel, this is truly an undiscovered romantic and beautiful secret place. The ancient town still retains its ancient style, and the ancient buildings and houses are well preserved. We walked through the "Qin and Han Ancient Street" which is known as a living specimen of northern Sichuan folk houses, visited Miss Lan's former residence where the Sichuan opera "Lanqiao Water Sacrifice" and "Lanqiao Meeting" performed the "Hua Jin Shuang Fei" between Master Wei and Miss Lan... We visited the ancient town court, etc.... It is really a secret place in the small town. The whole family came with excitement and left with satisfaction. Travel tips: Take the high-speed rail to Guangyuan and drive to "Berlin Ancient Town". Food: The local earthen stove "wood-fired chicken" and authentic Sichuan lake fish will surely whet your appetite and make you never want to leave.
