There are many ways to get to Sanxingdui Museum. You can take a high-speed train from Chengdu to Sanxingdui Station or Guanghan North Station. You can also take a bus from Chunxi Road to Sanxingdui Museum. I personally recommend going to Guanghan North Station, which is more convenient. The station is not big, and it is easy to get in and out. There are many taxis and black cars outside the station. The fare to Sanxingdui Museum is basically between CNY 10 and 20. After getting off the car, follow the signs to the entrance. If you want to avoid the crowds and take photos, it is best to get up early and take the earliest high-speed train from Chengdu East Station to Guanghan North. In this way, you can get off the train at around 7:40 am, then take a taxi to Sanxingdui, and walk to the entrance to queue at around 8:10 am. You can be at the front of the line, and there are not many people. You can be among the first to enter. Regarding the explanation, there are group explanations, personal explanations, and audio guides. I didn't see any team or personal explanations, but the online explanation for CNY 20 on the official account is very useful. You can buy it on your phone and wear headphones. There are more than 100 explanations in total. You can choose which explanation to listen to. The freedom is very high, and you can listen repeatedly if you don't hear clearly. The explanation is detailed and complete. Regarding the exhibits, the most famous ones are the bronze statues, sacred trees, and masks. As mentioned above, if you want to take a closer look and take photos, you should be among the first to enter. Visit the exhibition halls in order. There are not many people, and it even feels like you have the place to yourself. It takes about two hours to visit all three exhibition halls and listen to the explanations. Sanxingdui is mysterious on the Internet, but it is more important to understand the mysterious Shu culture. Many sacrificial utensils unearthed from Sanxingdui are exquisite and worth exploring and observing. I hope everyone will not just rush to the three main cultural relics and ignore some of the world's best unearthed items (these will be introduced in the explanation).
