Majestic Peaks and Picturesque Waterfalls

We learned about this mountain and the waterfall in front of it through social media. Kirkjufell is said to be the most photographed spot in Iceland. Indeed, it is a breathtaking sight, reminiscent of Switzerland's Matterhorn, and also one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones ~ Arrowhead Mountain. We stopped at the viewpoint of Kirkjufellsfoss, the waterfall across the road, and it was easy to walk across the waterfall. The uniqueness of this place will amaze you when you see it; words cannot truly describe how special it is. The view from the top of the waterfall is fantastic, and you can take some stunning photos of the waterfall and the mountains. Every second of the long drive from Reykjavik is worth it, and you won't regret experiencing it in person. I hope to return one day and will never forget the grandeur and atmosphere of this place. You can park in the parking lot and walk to the waterfall, but be aware that the parking fee is very expensive, costing 10,000 ISK no matter how long you stay. Credit cards are accepted, but don't forget to pay, as there are cameras to record your car.
