The Albayzin district is the oldest neighbourhood in Granada. Although the ancient mosque was converted into a church, it still retains the Moorish era and is therefore listed as a World Heritage Site. After the completion of the Alhambra, the area became a mixed residential area between country mansions and urban dwellings, such as maze-like alleys and white facades of buildings that have not changed.
