【A Must-Visit When Going to Gotemba Outlet】Toraya Workshop

It takes about 25 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car from Gotemba Premium Outlets to reach Toraya Workshop, where you can enjoy delicious Japanese sweets. I stayed at a nearby hotel and went there by rental bicycle. As expected of a popular spot, there was a long queue, but with bamboo groves and nature all around, the wait was not boring as I could enjoy the surroundings. The shop is spacious with plenty of seats, so I didn't have to wait too long. This cafe, directly managed by the long-established Japanese confectionery store 'Toraya', offered a variety of Japanese sweets. There were also sweets for souvenirs, and the atmosphere was a healing space completely different from the outlet.
