If you visit Turkey, there's one dream you absolutely must fulfill—taking a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia. Although it means waking up at around 4 a.m., checking the weather, wind direction, and luck the day before, the moment the balloon takes off, you'll realize it's all worth it. Early in the morning, we were picked up and taken to the hot air balloon company's meeting point. While enjoying a simple breakfast, we waited for the staff to confirm the wind speed and weather conditions. Honestly, the waiting period was nerve-wracking because bad weather could lead to a last-minute cancellation. Luckily, the skies were clear and the winds calm that day, so we were good to go!
