Qasi Grassland | Spring's Forerunner in the Ili Valley

Located approximately 180 km from Yining city center, Qasi Grassland is about a 3-hour drive away. Situated southeast of Gongliu County and near Kurdening, it's the first grassland in the Ili Valley to turn green in spring. The scenic area has a large parking lot, basic dining facilities, and camping sites. Several homestays around the area have also started to open. A wooden boardwalk in the main scenic area leads directly to the mountaintop. Along the way, wildflowers bloom everywhere, the grass is a vibrant green, and the nearby snow-capped mountains are a magnificent sight. Besides walking along the boardwalk, you can also choose to ride horses provided by local herders. Be sure to inquire about the time and price in advance.
