Yamdrok Lake Tour Guide (Inner Lake + Outer Lake)

Yamdrok Lake, within its 675 square kilometers, houses 21 islands of various sizes. It is actually composed of four lakes (Yang Lake, Kongmu Lake, Zhen Lake, Bajiu Lake), resembling a branch of coral, hence also known as the 'Coral Lake'. ✅Inner and Outer Lake Tour: The Inner Lake circuit is about 100 kilometers, with some sections of the road in poor condition (takes 1 day to tour the lake), while the Outer Lake circuit is 260 kilometers long with better road conditions (takes 2 days to tour the lake) ✅Gangbala Mountain Pass: A classic viewing platform of Yang Lake, where you can overlook the S-bay of Yang Lake and gaze at the distant glaciers ✅Lurila Viewing Platform: Enjoy the panoramic view of Rito Temple and the distant snowscape ✅Rito Temple: Over 700 years old, it is a one-person temple located on the top of Ridong Island.
