Chaka Salt Lake.

On the second day in Golmud, the thirteenth day of the trip, we went to Chaka Salt Lake after breakfast. The shuttle bus costs CNY 60 per person, but tour guides, veterans, and seniors over 65 years old can ride for free. Chaka Salt Lake looks similar to Mangya Emerald Lake in photos, but they are actually quite different. Both lakes have clear green water, but Chaka Salt Lake is larger and more open. Chaka Salt Lake is a mature scenic area with more complete facilities and planning, and more tourists. Fortunately, the scenic area is large and not crowded. Compared to Mangya Emerald Lake, Chaka Salt Lake is more like a green diamond princess hidden in the desert, grand, open-minded, and cheerful. Mangya Emerald Lake has crystal clear green water and a gentle and calm surface, like green gems embedded in a white curtain. The snow-capped Kunlun Mountains and the yellow-brown folds of the Altun Mountains create a more layered and impactful visual experience. There are not many tourists, and the view from the lakeside is breathtaking. Mangya Emerald Lake is more like a gem fairy hidden in a secret place, tranquil, soothing, and mysterious.
