Journey to Golmud: Exploring the Magnificence and Sanctity of Nature

The days in Golmud were a beautiful encounter with nature. I chose to stay at the Golmud Licheng Huating Hotel, embarking on an unforgettable journey. First, I visited the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve, which seemed like a treasure left by nature on earth. The vast land, undulating mountains, and the clear, gem-like sky complemented each other. Wild animals roamed freely on this pure land; the elegant posture of the Tibetan antelope and the majestic presence of the wild yaks made one feel the tenacity and beauty of life. Next, the Wuji Longfeng Palace appeared before my eyes. The palace was magnificent, exuding a mysterious and solemn aura against the backdrop of the blue sky and white clouds. The carved beams and painted rafters, resplendent in gold and jade, made one marvel at the architectural wisdom and artistic creativity of the ancients. Yuzhu Peak, with its sacred white and majestic stance, left me in awe. The snow-capped peak soared into the clouds, shimmering with silver under the sunlight. Gazing from afar, a sense of reverence for nature welled up in my heart. The Sonam Dargye Protection Station is a place full of stories. Here, I learned about Sonam Dargye's immense contributions to protecting the Hoh Xil ecosystem. His spirit, like the snow-capped mountains here, stands tall forever, inspiring everyone to cherish nature and protect wildlife. Finally, I stepped into the Sanjiangyuan Nature Reserve. This is the source of the Yangtze, Yellow, and Lancang Rivers, known as the "Water Tower of China." The rivers flow gently, nourishing the land and nurturing countless lives. Every blade of grass and tree here is full of vitality, making one feel the preciousness of nature's gifts. This journey to Golmud allowed me to appreciate the magnificence and sanctity of nature. From the wildlife of Hoh Xil to the solemnity of Wuji Longfeng Palace, from the grandeur of Yuzhu Peak to the spirit of the Sonam Dargye Protection Station, and finally to the life source of the Sanjiangyuan Nature Reserve, each landscape is deeply imprinted in my heart. I leave with a heart full of emotion and gains, looking forward to the next encounter with nature.
