Attractions - Stirling Castle shows the refurbished living quarters of the king and queen of Scotland, the great hall, and the chapel. It also hosts the Scottish Army museum. In Stirling, you can further visit the Wallace Monument and the museum around the Battle of Bannockburn. Hotels - the closest hotel to the castle is right outside its walls and has stunning views. Food & Restaurants - many good traditional, common, and alternative restaurants in Stirling. Shopping - The Thistles is a modern and large shopping centre in the middle of the town.
