🇭🇰 Touching the lion statues

These lion statues are popular at Wong Tai Sin temple. Many worshippers will surround them and touch them for good luck blessings. They are the chinese guardian lions and they protect the temple by guarding the main entrance. They also look like dogs and in some other temples, they have foxes instead of this lion-dog hybrid. They always come in a pair, one female and one male. The female lion statue can be identified with her cub and the male lion statue can be identified with a ball at his feet. *photos are taken before pandemic and HK is not open for travelling yet but I will be there soon :) #hkinsider #liveyourdreams #takethattrip
