Switzerland: The Homeland of the Alpine Girl

Murren attracts many tourists, but once you take the path downhill towards Gimmelwald, the crowd thins out. Often, there are only a few people hiking. Although you might not see many people, there's no need to worry, as you just need to follow the cable car route, and you definitely won't get lost! Along the way, you'll be greeted by snow-capped mountains as the backdrop, lush green meadows, and groups of cows and sheep. Anyone who sees this scenery would marvel at how wonderful it would be to live here. Gimmelwald is a very, very small and simple farming village with just one main road. If you're driving, it takes less than thirty seconds to pass through. A long time ago, there was a Japanese cartoon called 'The Story of Heidi' (Alpine Girl), and I think Heidi's hometown must be Gimmelwald.
