A Private Japanese-Style Sauna Experience in Gifu

Located just a 5-minute walk from JR Gifu Station, "Iroha" offers a completely private sauna experience. When you think of private saunas, you might imagine them being expensive and out of reach. However, this facility is surprisingly affordable, starting at around 2,400 yen per person. The sauna rooms come in three types: - "Regular" for up to 2 people - "Large" for up to 3 people - "VIP" for up to 4 people Each room can also be used by just one person. I personally tried the "Regular" room. For sauna enthusiasts, this facility is a dream come true, as it allows for self-pouring of water over the hot stones (self-löyly). The cold water bath is also set at the perfect temperature for ultimate relaxation. Each sauna is equipped with amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and even a hair dryer. Towels are provided as well, making it a convenient option for those who want to visit empty-handed. After the sauna, I enjoyed a bowl of incredibly addictive, authentic tantanmen at the nearby #Greenyang.
