Giethoorn. Train or Tour?

Ｇｉｅｔｈｏｏｒｎ. Should you join a day tour or go on your own? For groups of two or more, I would recommend taking the train! There’s no direct transport from Amsterdam to Giethoorn, so you'll need to stop at Steenwijk to get a bus. A one-way train ticket is €25.6, but with a group ticket, 2-3 people pay €34, 4 people €38, and up to 7 people for €50. The journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours in total. On the other hand, a day tour cost around €70-100, which might be more convenient, especially if you're traveling solo. ‼️Note: Group tickets are only valid during off-peak hours (before 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, and after 6:30 PM on weekdays.
