Georgia, where every moment is a masterpiece.

In the heart of the Caucasus region lies a hidden gem waiting to be discovered - the enchanting country of Georgia. Nestled between Europe and Asia, Georgia beckons travelers with its rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality. My recent journey to this picturesque land was a tapestry of unforgettable experiences that left an indelible mark on my heart. From the cobblestone streets of Tbilisi to the snow-capped peaks of the Caucasus Mountains, every moment in Georgia was a vibrant mosaic of culture, adventure, and discovery. Join me as I recount the highlights of my journey through this captivating country and the profound impact it had on my perspective of the world. We visited during the second week of January, so it was winter. We stayed at the Light House Hotel, which included free breakfast. Georgia is known as the birthplace of wine, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. We enjoyed a wine tasting tour and even bought two bottles of wine to bring back to the UK. We stayed in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. From there, we booked private day tours through "Georgia by Car" on Facebook. You can choose from various day tours, but here's the itinerary we followed: Day tours from Tbilisi: 🔘 kakheti tour Words oldest wine making region, old towns, winery tour and wine tasting, bread baking and some activities, Sighnagi - city of Love, surrounded by Great Wall (8-10 hours ) 🔘 Gudauri & Kazbegi tour ( mountains) Jinvali dam, Ananuri fortress, Gudauri panorama , Rooms hotel for beautiful view, gudauri ski resort and snow activities (9 to 10 hrs) 🔘 uplistsikhe cave town, mtskheta and Tbilisi tour Mtskheta: Jvari monastery, svetitskhoveli cathedral, souvenir market Tbilisi : peace bridge, rike park, cable car ride, narikala fortress, mother of Georgia , bath area, veghvtakhevi, old Tbilisi , sharpening street , sioni church , freedom square, Rustaveli Avenue, tram ride to funicular, mtatsminda park. (8-10 hours ) 🔘Bakuriani & Borjomi tour Bakuriani- mountains with pine trees , horse ride , cable car ride , fresh air and cool weather.
