Penang 1 night

The place we will stay for 1 night this time is “Penang City or Koh Mak” I am a native of Betong but grew up in Songkhla for 6 years and continued my university studies in Bangkok until graduation. I have worked for 8-9 years. I have never tasted the simplicity of life in Betong. The so-called simple life means not being exciting or not being able to strive for a variety of food like in big cities. The uncertainty is 10 times that of the central region in terms of weather that we cannot control. Therefore, looking for a city to walk around or find food that has more than Betong is what we have been trying to find all along. After Covid subsided, other countries gradually opened up. Many of you may know that Betong is the southernmost point of Siam and is like a border town that can be crossed to Malaysia. Penang is one of the cities that we have been eyeing since before the country opened up. We must go because it is close to travel and convenient for people on the border like us. “This time…. So we traveled to….. here….. Penanggggggg~” Penang is a lovely city with a unique architecture. Almost the entire George Town is lined up the same. We live on coffee, so the first place to go is a coffee shop. The coffee shop that we are very proud to present is …. “Forest cloud” Which is located in George Town. The shop front is beautiful, perfect for taking pictures. The shop is decorated in a minimalist style, a little bit modern, but everything, whether it's the package, the glass, or any products, is well-designed. You can tell that it was intentional. At first, I went because of the reviews and the style of the shop. But when we got there, we found out that “Hey!!! This shop is the 2022 Brewing Champion of Malaysia.” The shop roasts and sells the beans themselves, and is also a supplier and sells machines. Wow, how complete is this! I highly recommend this shop, you must go!! The second shop I would like to recommend is “Ome by spacebar coffee”. This shop should be an old shop, an early shop, and it is also located near tourist attractions such as Penang's street art. I personally think that the taste is similar, not too many or too few menus. But the styles of the shops are completely different. At Ome, the shop has a very classic style. The staff at the shop are quite nice. It is a shop in a quiet corner, even though it is very close to tourist attractions. Let me whisper something. If you think you will finish it at the shop, order it in a cup and drink it at the shop. Because this place is very environmentally friendly. The cups they use are all Bio cups. Zero waste to the max. In the afternoon, we continue our journey. People from remote areas where transportation still costs 50 baht like us must yearn for shopping malls. We want to update ourselves on how far the world has come. So we have to go to the biggest and most complete shopping mall in Penang, “Gurney Plaza”. There is everything to choose from. Some things are cheaper than in Thailand. Because the current exchange rate is quite cheap. After enjoying the shopping mall, we continue to watch the sunset at “Esplanade Walkway”. It is very beautiful. When we went, the cruise ship was docking. So we got a good chance to take some beautiful pictures. Let me whisper again that the place where they set up balloons for people to play with They rent it out, not for sale. Rent 4 Rm. 🤔 I want to review a restaurant and end it beautifully. “Tok Tok Mee Bamboo Noodle” This restaurant has a MICHELIN Guide, so I have to try it. The staff at the restaurant can’t speak English at all. If anyone has a friend who can speak Chinese, recommend them so that communication doesn’t get messed up. We ordered a menu that received a MICHELIN Guide. It was delicious. I wasn’t disappointed. Because the restaurant made the food itself, it was crunchy and chewy. The dumplings were big and full of flavor. It was really good. You have to try it. That’s the end of the Penang review. I hope it’s useful for everyone who is interested in Penang. ✌🏻 See you again. Interesting post. For today, I have to go find another place to visit. Hello~~ 🎉 #Penang #CafeReview #GoToAChicCafe #TravelAbroad
