Weekend getaway @ G Hotel Gurney

#wheretogo Penang is always a good place for a weekend getaway. You get a good balance of nature and city, plus the food is always good! At the busy area or Gurney, G Hotel Gurney is a good choice for staycation. The hotel room is big and the service is good. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted warmly and attended to quickly. Ice creams are served at the reception too! We booked the L-suite and boy it was big. The room has a mini kitchen equipped with a full size fridge, capsule coffee machine and fairly large counter top for meal prep maybe? Living area is quite spacious too! Downside was TV not being a smart TV and limited channels are available. At the sleeping area, you’ll find a king sized bed which was really comfortable. Bathroom was huge as well!
