Let's talk about my real feelings when I took my child to Hulunbuir last year

Every summer, finding a cool retreat is always a challenge. You have to consider the timing, transportation, and whether the kids will like the place. Last year, my teammates and I waited until the kids were on vacation before deciding to go to the grasslands. To our surprise, Hulunbuir in July really amazed us! We played for a total of 7 days, and I personally feel that this itinerary was just right to enjoy Hulunbuir to the fullest! On the first day, we flew directly from Beijing to Hailar. In the afternoon, we visited the museum and in the evening, we went back to the hotel for a welcome dinner, where we had a bull head feast! It was my first time seeing an entire bull's head served with a big iron pot. The beef and mutton in Inner Mongolia are really delicious👍 During the meal, there was also a performance of the horse-head fiddle and long song, adding to the grassland atmosphere🪕! On the second day, we set off directly to the Morin Dawa River in the morning, which truly lives up to its reputation as the world's top meandering river! In the afternoon, we went to the Oroqen tribe and had close contact with reindeer in the forest🫎. The kids had a great time~ That night we stayed at the Tuoluozi campsite, where we could see the stars just by looking up. The starry sky on the grassland was too stunning🌌! According to the teacher, the design of the campsite replicates the original dwellings of the Evenki people, and if lucky, you could also see meteors and auroras✨ On the third day, we still got up early and first went to the Oroqen museum to play with birch bark pyrography and make sunflower crafts. In the afternoon, we all went to the Moerdaoga National Forest Park and took a small train around the Greater Khingan Range🚂. Personally, I think this was much more fun than grass sliding!!🏡 That night, we stayed in a Russian homestay log cabin. Sitting in the car and driving through the grasslands and forests, when we saw the rows of log cabins, it really felt like we had entered a fairy tale world hahaha The fourth day was a whole day on the grasslands! We went to the long-awaited Erguna Wetland, and riding horses on the great grassland was so joyful!!!🏇 After having fun, we also changed into Mongolian robes for a travel photo shoot, which was super photogenic📸. At night, we slept in a Mongolian yurt and joined a bonfire party to eat roasted whole lamb. Isn't this the original intention of our trip to the great grasslands? I can only say that it really exceeded our expectations by a lot The main mission on the fifth day was to pretend to be abroad! Actually, we went to Manzhouli haha. Taking photos at Matryoshka Square really felt like being in Russia, and we also watched a grand Russian circus, which was very impressive! For dinner, we had authentic Russian cuisine at the Rublyovka restaurant, served by handsome Russian guys😆. We stayed at the most expensive Matryoshka Castle Hotel in Manzhouli! From the outside, it looks like a huge matryoshka🪆. The ceilings and walls inside the hotel are all murals, most of which are hand-painted, and touching them, you can feel the texture of the paint, giving a sense of being in a European art museum. On the sixth day, we switched to an SUV and crossed the Hulunbuir grasslands, White Sand Beach, Hulun Lake, basalt formations, and Swan Lake, enjoying the joy of driving on the grasslands On the last day, the seventh day, we slept until we naturally woke up, had breakfast, and then started our journey home✈️. The kids were reluctant to leave, saying they wanted to stay on the great grasslands, really missing the days of counting stars on the grasslands~
