Newstead Abbey This is not just an ordinary manor, but also a great place to learn about history and literature. Newstead Abbey was originally built in 1170 as a monastery by order of King Henry II of England. In 1540, it became the property of the Byron family and the former residence of the Romantic poet Lord Byron. Lord Byron was a famous British Romantic poet who graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, and was a schoolmate of Newton. He was handsome, fashionable, and had a good sense of style, earning him the title of pop star. His classic look was a white shirt with a green plaid shawl. He was married and had a daughter, and even married a king. However, Byron later divorced, possibly due to his sexual orientation. In a letter, he mentioned that the death of the man he loved most in his life left him heartbroken, and he believed that his friend loved him until death. Unfortunately, Byron died at the age of 36.
