The vast Hongyuan Prairie has a unique natural landscape, rich resources, and is known as the 'Golden and Silver Beach' of the plateau. It is a world of flowers, an ocean of grass, with unique customs and diverse weather. The Red Army passed through this prairie during the Long March and rested and stationed here. To commemorate the Red Army's Long March through this area and the reclamation and construction of the prairie, the State Council named it Hongyuan County. Hongyuan Moon Bay Scenic Area offers beautiful travel views without an entrance fee. The beauty of the Hongyuan Prairie is fully reflected in Moon Bay. The beauty of Gannan lies in the fact that the entire route is scenic, with mountains and ridges covered by dark green grasslands under the azure sky and white clouds, creating a unique charm like a long scroll of ink painting, set in the land of Western Sichuan. Along the way, there are many viewing platforms to enjoy such beautiful scenery. Standing on the high platforms, it feels like you can reach out and touch the sky. Nianbaoyuze, the birthplace of 'Guoluo Mountain,' is located in the townships of Suohurima and Baiyu in Jiuzhi County, Qinghai Province, with the main peak at an altitude of 5369 meters. The canyon is dominated by valley glaciers and hanging glaciers. After the ice and snow melt, numerous lakes of various sizes are formed in the valleys around the snow peaks, creating a landscape of snow mountain mirror lakes. It is said to be the birthplace of the Golok Tibetan people, with main attractions including Nianbaoyuze Peak, Fairy Lake, and Demoness Lake. It is now permanently closed. After lunch in Jiuzhi County, choose to travel through Maqu to Hezuo for accommodation. It is 108 kilometers from Jiuzhi to Maqu, and the thirty kilometers of road from Awan Township to Maqu County is under construction, with uneven roads and slow driving, especially hard on vehicles, but the scenery along the way is very beautiful. The convoy leaves Jiuzhi County and heads north along the river valley, reaching the Awan Township of Maqu County in Gannan after driving more than thirty kilometers. One of the most beautiful prairies in Gannan, called the Maqu Awan Wetland Prairie. The Maqu Yellow River Bridge has also become a tourist attraction.
