Stairway to Heaven: Conquering Sealy Tarns🚶‍♀️🇳🇿

Our last hike in New Zealand was an unforgettable journey to Sealy Tarns in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Known as the 'Stairway to Heaven,' this hike features a grueling 2,000-step staircase leading to breathtaking views. I tackled this challenge with friends from Taiwan and Malaysia, making it even more memorable. We started early, enjoying perfect weather and a cool breeze. The first section was easy, but the steep stairs quickly tested our endurance. Frequent breaks allowed us to admire Mount Cook’s towering peak and the stunning valley below. Reaching Sealy Tarns felt incredibly rewarding. The small alpine lakes reflected the surrounding mountains beautifully. We rested, took photos, and soaked in the peaceful atmosphere before beginning the tough descent. This hike was a true test of perseverance, but the breathtaking scenery and shared experience made it unforgettable.
