| Fujian Museum Fujian Museum was formerly known as the Fujian Provincial Science Museum, which was founded in 1933. The provincial museum was built in 1953, shortly after the liberation. In 2002, the new Fujian Provincial Museum was completed on Hutou Street, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, and was renamed Fujian Museum. Fujian Museum is one of the first national first-class museums, with a collection of 170,000 cultural relics and natural specimens, including the bronze bell with cloud patterns from the Western Zhou Dynasty, the Persian peacock blue glazed vase from the Later Tang Dynasty, the sword of Li Gang from the Northern Song Dynasty, the brown silk pleated skirt with printed flowers from the Southern Song Dynasty, and the colored plum blossom and swan painting from the Ming Dynasty.
