Lin Zexu Memorial Hall

Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is located at No. 16, Macao Road, Gulou District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is a typical representative of Fuzhou's ancient houses. In 1982, with the support of the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government, the Fuzhou Cultural Relics Management Committee took back the front half of the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, solving the problem of the museum site that had not been solved since the establishment of the museum in 1961. In November of the same year, the restoration and repair of the front half of the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was completed, the exhibition of "Lin Zexu's Life and Cultural Relics" was completed, and the Fuzhou Municipal People's Government approved the establishment of the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall in Fuzhou. On June 26, 2009, the new Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was officially opened to the public, and the Lin Zexu Memorial Hall restored the original function of the ancestral hall as a restoration exhibition, and the new museum displayed the exhibition of Lin Zexu's historical achievements.
