China Shipbuilding Culture Scenic Area is located in Mawei District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is a comprehensive cultural exhibition park with the theme of shipbuilding culture. The scenic area is centered on the famous shipbuilding site in Chinese history, including the China Shipbuilding Culture Museum, Fuzhou Mawei Naval Battle Memorial Hall, Shipbuilding Gezhi Garden, Luoxing Pagoda Park, and other major attractions. These attractions not only showcase the history and culture of shipbuilding but also use modern technology such as sound, light, and electricity to give visitors a more vivid understanding of the unique charm of shipbuilding culture. The Shipbuilding Culture Scenic Area is not only a national AAAA-level tourist attraction but also known as the cradle of China's modern navy, showcasing the glorious history of China's modern industry. The main buildings in the scenic area, such as the Shipbuilding Yamen, Engine Workshop, and Painting Institute, have retained their layout from a hundred years ago. After the protection, restoration, and revitalization of ancient buildings, they have been given new life. The Shipbuilding Post Office is an important historical and cultural heritage in Mawei District, Fuzhou City. It was established in 1901 and was originally named Fuzhou Shipbuilding Post Office. It was the 11th post office opened by the Qing Dynasty in Fujian and the first official post office in Mawei.
