Weekend Diary: A Day of Crazy Eating

Oh my! The food at Dongjie Mouth is just too delicious! For us J people, the greatest respect for the weekend is to plan two days in advance what to eat! A happy weekend can alleviate the pain of a week full of classes. Ever since I posted about Cui Sauce last time, I've been craving fried chicken every day! This time, I finally got my wish and ordered the Yinsu and Bifengtang flavored fried chicken. My npy (boyfriend/girlfriend) and I came on an empty stomach and ate so much! We even took some to go. If you're going as a couple, I suggest ordering a half portion to save room for other delicious foods. Tang Mo Tea Xi, I've been wanting to try it for a long time! I used to love the cream versions, but now I realize I was wrong not to try this 'happy' one sooner! Jasmine green tea with coconut water as the base, topped with a light pistachio milk cap, is just too delicious! After the milk cap sinks, it's a bit like a certain honey's cheese milk cap on Four Seasons tea, haha, but each has its own merits. Gancao Guava, I was immediately intrigued when I saw a blogger I like eating it! Sure enough, it's really addictive! You have to order half an hour in advance by scanning a QR code at their place, otherwise, you'll wait a super long time if you order on-site. I ate it 3 times in 2 days, what level... I tried different fruits each time! Crispy mango, wax apple, and pineapple are the best!! Followed by red guava, tomato with black plum, and ripe mango, but it still depends on personal taste. Recently, I've been loving the bread from a bakery that's just ripened, and I found a nearby shop with a cute name. I bought from them twice, and personally, I think the crab meat drum and salted egg yolk drum are delicious! The red bean bun and custard bun are just average. Back Street Hot Pot, I was so full after eating all day! I didn't have room for hot pot until 9:30 pm. This place is open from 7:00 am to 2:00 am, and it's super crowded after 10 pm! I ordered Set B, the soup is very fresh but not much, and the thin noodles are tasty. The owner recommended thick noodles, but I personally still prefer the thin ones. Nie Ji Cantonese Restaurant, this place also has a long queue at meal times. Luckily we arrived at 11:30, so we didn't have to queue and joined a large table. Two people ordered 1/4 portion of roast duck, which was just right. However, there was a small disappointment, which is...
