Exploring Japanese rest areas [Michi-no-eki]🚘

I went to Michi-no-eki for a night🌌 Michi-no-eki literally means 'road station' and is a rest area near a regular road in Japan. In addition to a simple rest area, there are various commercial facilities such as local specialty stores, souvenir stores, restaurants, and event spaces. Each Michi-no-eki has its own unique characteristics, so much so that there are even books introducing Michi-no-eki in each region of Japan📚 I arrived at night and stayed overnight in my car. The stars in the night sky were no joke.
