Fukuoka Canal City Hakata Travel Review On a rainy afternoon, I arrived at Canal City after a leisurely walk with an umbrella. An artificial canal flows through the massive shopping mall, and bridges cross over it. The moment the fountain danced to the music, it felt like a scene from a movie. I browsed Howl's Moving Castle merchandise at the Ghibli store, and enjoyed a bowl of rich Fukuoka-style tonkotsu ramen at Ramen Stadium. Even though I was alone, I never felt lonely.
