Artistic Charm and Spreading Greenery—Fukuoka Art Museum and Nishi Park

In the early morning, I walked into the Fukuoka Art Museum, a serene sanctuary of art located beside Ohori Park. The museum houses precious paintings and sculptures from ancient to modern times. Strolling through the exhibition halls, I carefully admired the avant-garde touches of Yayoi Kusama and the gentle brushstrokes of Kuroda Seiki, feeling the fusion of Eastern and Western art. Outside the windows, the shimmering lake of Ohori Park seemed to flow poetically with the artworks inside. In the afternoon, I headed to the nearby Nishi Park, a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Fukuoka. Although it was not cherry blossom season, the park was still lush with greenery, occasionally dotted with red maple leaves, adding a touch of autumn warmth. Climbing up to the observation deck, I took in the panoramic view of Fukuoka City and Hakata Bay. The gentle breeze made me appreciate the harmonious coexistence of urban life and nature.
