Ohori Park

Ohori Park is an absolute gem in Fukuoka, offering a peaceful escape right in the middle of the city! The large lake at the center is perfect for leisurely walks, jogs, or boat rides, and there are plenty of scenic spots along the way to stop and relax. I particularly loved walking around the lake and enjoying the calm, open spaces. The park is popular with locals, and I saw people doing yoga, picnicking, and even feeding the ducks. There’s a lovely Japanese garden inside the park, which adds a traditional touch to the green space. I also enjoyed a quiet moment on one of the many benches, watching the boats drift by. It’s the perfect place to unwind, especially in the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Ohori Park is ideal for anyone seeking a natural, relaxing break while exploring the city!
