Fukuoka Ohori Park and Fukuoka Castle

🍓Fukuoka Ohori Park is located in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City, Japan. 🍓The lake in Ohori Park was formerly the inland bay "Kusae", which was used as an outer moat after the construction of Fukuoka Castle. In 1925, the Fukuoka Prefectural Government carried out a large-scale lake filling and land reclamation project in order to host the East Asia Industrial Exposition. After the closing of the Expo, the area was converted into a park, designed based on the West Lake in Hangzhou, and officially opened in March 1929. There is a long embankment in the middle of the lake, on which are planted pine trees, willow trees and flower trees. The changing scenery and the small bridges of different shapes on the embankment complement each other, showing the diversity of the lake landscape. 🍓There are several small islands in the middle of the lake, with bridges connecting them to the shore. There are many birds on the lake, egrets, white cranes, mandarin ducks, and ducks, some resting or spreading their wings, looking very free. There are people playing electric sailboats by the lake⛵, and the scenery is harmonious. 🍓On the north side of the park is a Japanese garden, which is not open at the end of the year. It covers an area of ​​approximately 12,000 square meters. There are also Noh Theater, Fukuoka Art Museum, children's playground, restaurants and other facilities by the lake. It must be a beautiful place in spring. 🍓For transportation, you can take the Nishitetsu Bus City Loop Line and get off at Nishi Park, or take the Subway Line 2 and get off at Ohori Park Station. If you want to enjoy the natural scenery and take a leisurely stroll, Ohori Park and its surroundings are a good place to go.
