Ohori Park

#Fukuoka Attractions Ohori Park is near the city center. It only takes about ten minutes to get there by car from Hakata Station. The whole park is surrounded by a large lake. You can rent swan boats inside, which is a bit like the West Lake. There is also a bridge that crosses the floating island in the middle to the other end. Some of the tree species in the garden are relatively common. This is a good place to cycle around the park. The weather was really good when we arrived. The sun was very hot at around 8 o'clock in the morning, so walking was a bit difficult. I can't believe that we finally walked a large circle of the park. There are also Japanese gardens and Fukuoka Art Museum next to it, but please note that they are closed on Mondays. Overall, it's a good, beautiful place, very suitable for a leisurely walk.
