Do you know Mikuni Port in Fukui Prefecture? It is one of the termini of the Echizen Railway and thrives as a fishing town. The scenery is typical of a fishing town. It is famous for its delicious seafood from the Sea of Japan, including crabs and sweet shrimp. Sweet shrimp in particular is often caught in spring and autumn.
