A day trip to the suburbs of Japan!

This Tokyo trip is a bit different. Instead of just shopping and eating non-stop, I planned the itinerary to accommodate my VIPs (my parents)! We drove to the area near Lake Kawaguchi to enjoy cherry blossoms, have a picnic, and admire Mount Fuji. Then, we headed to Mount Takao, took the cable car, and hiked an easy trail to enjoy the scenery and breathe fresh air! (If you're traveling with kids or elderly family members, Mount Takao is definitely a great choice. From Shinjuku, you can take the Keio Line express train to the terminal station "Takaosanguchi Station"!)
