A Two-Day Trip to Shunde

A Two-Day Trip to Shunde We arrived at the hotel smoothly at nine o'clock on Saturday after a two-hour ride on the high-speed train and the subway (Picture 1). The hotel is located on the periphery of Qinghui Garden, and we could see the scenery of Qinghui Garden through the window, which was quite nice. After a short rest and leaving our luggage, we went to Huagai Road to find something to eat. Huagai Road is a street full of specialty snacks, offering a wide range of choices. We had fish noodles and fish skin, then went back to the hotel to rest. At two o'clock, we first visited Qinghui Garden, and after that, we took Line 3 to Tongji Road. Tongji Road is a street full of coffee shops, each with its own characteristics, but my friend and I are not very interested in coffee. Instead, we found this tea shop filled with green plants (Picture 2) quite special, so we went in for tea. We also visited Xianxing Bookstore (Picture 3), intending to order something and read quietly by the window, but it was too crowded and noisy, so we left. We strolled around and did some window shopping at the coffee shops there. On Sunday, after breakfast on Huagai Road, we took Line 3 directly to Lunjiao, which was just three stops away. First, we went to Ming Stone Garden (Picture 4) to see the mansion of the wealthy. The garden was actually a bit small, and the ¥20 ticket was not very worthwhile, but it was still nice for taking photos. Next, we visited the Turtle Jelly Cultural Experience Museum (Picture 5) right next to Ming Stone Garden to taste authentic turtle jelly. Then we went to Tianyi Lang Garden, which is the Xiangyunsha Museum with distinctive architecture, allowing for very modern photos. Unfortunately, when we got there, the security guard said they were off on Sundays and wouldn't open the doors, which left us speechless 😓. We had no choice but to take a taxi directly to the last stop in Lunjiao - Fisherman's Wharf (Picture 6). It is a cultural park transformed from an abandoned factory, where the restaurants, tea shops, and graffiti reflect the collision and integration of modern and traditional culture, making it worth visiting. After two o'clock, we took a car back to Huagai Road to stroll around the pedestrian street and enjoy the classic traditional local cuisine, and even packed some to take home for our families to taste. At seven o'clock, we took a car back home, concluding our two-day trip to Shunde~
