I declare Foshan as my third favorite city in Guangdong. Hehe, the kind of city in Guangdong where I want to settle down. I have worked in Shenzhen for over two years and currently in Guangzhou for nearly half a year. I have visited Zhuhai, Dongguan, Huizhou, Shantou, Shanwei, Qingyuan, and Foshan. Finally, I have found the city where I really want to settle down. Not to mention the abundance of delicious food, it's also very close to Guangzhou and not too crowded. Last Saturday, I went to Foshan City walk and felt completely relaxed and comfortable. The city gives me a sense of being very new and clean. The strong Lingnan cultural atmosphere, strolling in Qiandeng Lake Park, the bustling night market, the dazzling light show, dragon boat racing in the lake, the lakeside playing 'My Motherland and I' and the theme song of the Huang Feihong movies... all these made me have a good impression of this originally unfamiliar city. As a northerner who has been in Guangdong for nearly 3 years, I never felt a sense of belonging in any city within Guangdong province. My first visit to Foshan made me think about settling down for the first time, although I might not be able to afford a house and there may not be job opportunities, it doesn't stop me from liking Foshan.
