Discover Forster, Australia: A Coastal Paradise

Discover Forster, Australia: A Coastal Paradise Forster is an exceptional gem of a town in Australia! Like a timeless haven, it sits quietly on the coast of New South Wales, waiting to be discovered. As soon as you arrive, a refreshing sea breeze gently caresses your face, carrying a hint of salt air and instantly dispelling the fatigue of the journey. Strolling along the town's streets, every step is filled with pleasant surprises. The streets are lined with unique houses, their colorful walls adorned with unknown vines and blooming flowers, creating a scene straight out of a fairytale. Forster's beaches are breathtakingly beautiful. The fine white sand sparkles under the sun, soft and yielding like a gentle massage for your feet. Waves roll in one after another, crashing against the coastal reefs and sending up sprays of white foam. I found a comfortable spot to sit, gazing at the seamless blend of sea and sky in the distance, occasionally interrupted by the crisp calls of seagulls flying overhead. In that moment, time seemed to stand still. The townspeople are warm and friendly, their faces always beaming with welcoming smiles. I stepped into a small café, where a kind old gentleman, the owner, personally made me a cup of rich coffee. Sitting by the window, savoring the coffee while watching people come and go, I soaked in the town's leisurely pace of life, feeling completely at ease. Forster also boasts a lush forest, a paradise for hikers. I followed a path through the woods, surrounded by towering trees, with sunlight filtering through the leaves, creating a mosaic of light and shadow. The sounds of birdsong and insects filled the air, like a beautiful melody orchestrated by nature. Numerous clear streams flowed through the forest, their waters gurgling softly. I couldn't resist crouching down, cupping the cool water in my hands, and feeling its refreshing touch. As evening approached, the town was bathed in a golden glow, dreamlike and enchanting. I went to the seaside and watched the sun slowly descend, painting the sky in vibrant hues of red and orange. The sea surface shimmered, as if sprinkled with countless golden fragments. At that moment, I was truly captivated by the stunning scenery.

The bridge connecting Foster and Tuncurry towns, like a white dragon lying across the entrance of Wallis Lake, is spectacular. It seems unbelievable to come to Foster without walking on Foster Bridge. Standing on the bridge and looking down at the scenery on both sides, one side is a yacht wharf with yachts of different sizes moored. On the other side is a white shallow beach, where tourists swim, dive, and fish.

New South Wales' Foster town and the neighboring town of Tuncurry, separated by Wallis Lake, form a unique bay tourism area. The two bay towns are connected by a bridge, making transportation convenient. Foster is located on the south bank, while Tuncurry is on the north bank, and the two towns are connected by a bridge that is 600 meters long. The two towns themselves are also picturesque, and even just walking around town is enjoyable.

Don't get me started, as a big international traveller you can understand when I say I have the travel bug, but with national and state borders closed. Nothing can stop you, just take your car and hit the road. Despite I have been around a lot in my home state of NSW, the unforseen circumstances allowed me the privilege to explore even more parts of NSW and to places I haven't yet been to. Just look at the breath taking photos of parts of NSW I've now been to. Words can't describe how lucky we are to live and to have this nearby. You just gotta get out and go do it, I have been going solo and doing hikes at amazing places esp. in the Mid North Coast like Forster and Seal Rocks. Down the south coast, amazing places that aren't touristy like Stanwell Tops and Bombo (Kiama was overcrowded with Sydney tourists). Parts of the Mid North Coast like the 4th photo I have, there weren't any tourists other myself and the locals, doing a hike like up to the peak of the mountain was rewarded with views like that and great to support local businesses. I even explored more of my home in the Greater Newcastle Area, it's full of national parks and state conservation areas that I never been to and it was amazing to go to. Who really needs to go overseas now? Honestly get out of your house, jump in the car and away you go! I've already got two separate road trips planned up the North Coast in the next two weeks! Stay local and support local 👍 Come aboard the journey @travellerswill #triplocal #triplocal
