Tours around Xi'an｜Guide to 2 days and 1 night in Foping with kids

📍Foping County, Hanzhong City 🚗Transportation I drove here because I was afraid it would be inconvenient to bring my child with me. It is 220 kilometers from Xi'an East Second Ring Road and takes 3 hours to arrive. When the baby is older, you can take the high-speed rail and arrive in 40 minutes. 🏠Accommodation The courtyard-style homestay I chose is very large, with a library, a free picking garden, a children's playground, and a tea room (Dad Orange loves to drink tea and doesn't want to come out) The double bed room we booked is quite spacious and is enough for a family of three. Cleanliness is the first priority when bringing a baby. This hotel is really full of details. Bath, toothbrush, hair dryer are all provided. The thoughtful thing is that there is also electric mosquito repellent. The food in the restaurant is also delicious. Steamed eggs are specially made for the baby. Local dogwood sparkling water is also prepared. 🐼Panda Base We didn't go to the Panda Valley (charged) where there were only 2 pandas. Not only was there a traffic jam due to road construction, but the pandas were also very far away. We chose to go to the Panda Base (free) which was not big and could be visited in 1 hour. There were 4 pandas in total. We arrived around 2pm and were lucky enough to see all 4. Orange was so happy to see a panda for the first time 🪑Wangjiawan The legendary oversized chair is great for taking photos, but don't use it in the hot sun. 🍴Old Street It takes less than half an hour to walk around the old street. There is a panda library inside which is nice for taking photos. Here are three recommended food restaurants: Chuanxianglou, Shanchengrenjia and Jinyi Restaurant. The last one we went to was not a disappointment. We ordered Foping Sanxiang, which is steamed with egg, meat and starch. The flavor list is suitable for babies. Bamboo shoots and bacon are slightly spicy and delicious with rice! The boss said 2 adults and 1 child is enough. The food is big. ✨ Overall it's quite comfortable and suitable for taking babies there. It should be very cool in half a month. I will go again when Orange is a little bigger.
